Rajiv is a highly regarded dignitary in Africa and India, he is known as a thought leader and also for his visionary abilities. He has a long experience in the Public and Private sectors in Mauritius, Africa and India. Was elected Member of Parliament in Mauritius from 1976-1982. Gave up active politics engaged in business and consultancy/advisory services. He has chaired Airport Terminal Operations Limited (ATOL) Mauritius and Vice-Chairman of the Competition Commission. He was also the Regional Director of Board of Investments of Mauritius based in Mumbai. The Board of Investment is the apex agency of the Republic of Mauritius to promote and facilitate foreign direct investment in Mauritius.
