iHMIS – A Digital Reformation in Arunachal’s Healthcare Industry

The iHMIS project represents a significant step towards achieving digitalization in the healthcare industry in India. It is an integral part of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, aimed at digitizing the entire healthcare infrastructure in the country. Funded under NHM ROP FY 2021-22 & ECRP-II, the project received support from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) and the Johns Hopkins Program for International Education in Gynaecology & Obstetrics (JHPIEGO). The project is being executed by Kenge Construction Company and B4B Solutions Pvt. Ltd in a joint venture under the Department of Health and Family Welfare.

iHMIS is a significant step toward adopting technology to improve the healthcare system. HMIS incorporates an integrated computerized clinical information system for improved hospital administration and patient healthcare. It also provides an accurate, electronically stored medical record of the Patient.

Implementation Partner B4B Solutions CEO Mr. Suresh Singh informed that with the inauguration of Telehub, the Patient would be able to have teleconsultation with Specialty Doctors not available at Namsai and connect with doctors at TRIHMS Itanagar or AIIMS. Using Health ATM Kiosk, patients can get 40 plus health parameters in less than 7 minutes.

The annual flagship event of the Symbiosis Center of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (S.C.E.I.) (Entrepreneurship Cell) was held on 15th December 2018, at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Hyderabad. The objective of this event was to bring in the budding entrepreneurs among the students and also to guide them and keep them abreast with the current environment of starting a new business. The event involved a panel discussion, a guest speaker address and also a competition among the students meant to test their entrepreneurial knowledge and innovative ideas.

We, the Faculty of MBA initially fixed-up the Celebrations to take place on 6th & 7th April 2017, but it deferred to 11th and 12th April 2017 with the motivation by the Management to conduct the Management Fest GUNA 2017. With the unanimous contemplation of all the Faculty Members to make the Fest successful with the joint activities of all our Students who were guided by the Faculty-team to chart-out the activities to be conducted in a planned manner to effect it. The Inaugural Function was blessed by our Managing Director Sir with a fillip to go-ahead with the presence of our Director Sir and Associate Directors.
